Description
GTO Wizard is an online service for studying game theory optimal poker strategy. The solver — the program that computes such a strategy — runs on the service’s servers, and its output is stored in finished form. Because of that, a solution opens almost instantly: there is nothing to wait for and no powerful computer needed. Everything works straight in the browser, with nothing to install.
The core of the service is a library of precomputed solutions for cash games and tournaments. It holds preflop ranges for various stack depths, rake structures, and ante formats, along with postflop strategies all the way to the river. For every spot you can see how the range as a whole is played and how each individual hand is played: how often it bets, calls, raises, or folds, and how much that is worth in chips.
Beyond browsing solutions, the platform lets you practice and test yourself. In the trainer, hands are played out against an opponent who follows the optimal strategy, and after every action you see how far your choice was from the best one. Uploaded histories of hands you have played are reviewed automatically: hands are sorted by the size of the mistake, so the most expensive misses end up at the top of the list.
For anyone who needs more than the prebuilt library, there is a custom solving mode. You set your own ranges, bet sizes, stack depths, and tree structure, and you can also model a suboptimal opponent: their frequencies can be locked in by hand or a ready-made behavioral profile can be applied to them. Solves like these are available on the higher tiers.
Another strong point is the educational side. The service includes study plans with video lessons and practical assignments, regular sessions with coaches, and a large library of recordings. That makes starting out considerably easier: a newcomer does not have to invent a study path from scratch.
