Description
Poker Academy is an online service for studying No-Limit Hold’em that runs right in the browser: nothing needs to be installed, and all calculations run on the platform’s servers. It combines three connected tools: a library of ready-made preflop solutions, a postflop solver, and a trainer where hands are played out in full, from preflop to river.
At the core of the platform is a library of more than 1,500,000 preflop charts for tournaments, 6-max cash, and Spin & Go. The solutions were calculated in Monker Solver and cover 23 stack sizes from 3 to 100 big blinds, different tournament stages, final tables with ICM, satellites, PKO, big blind ante play, multiway pots, blind vs blind, and spots against limps.
The postflop solver doesn’t rely on pre-solved boards: any flop is entered manually and solved on request, with no need to configure the game tree or tune solving parameters. Up to five custom bet sizes per street are available, along with nodelocking — locking the opponent’s strategy to see how best to play against a specific deviation. Claimed solving accuracy is 0.6% Nash distance on average.
Aggregated reports are a separate block: the same preflop spot is solved across a set of boards at once (25, 49, 95, 184, or all 1,755 flops). The weighted average strategy shows the general rule, while the rows of the table show the boards where that rule stops working. A report can be broken down by board texture and hand class, and it can also show how much EV is lost when the strategy is simplified to a single bet size.
Any spot from the charts and reports can be opened in the trainer. There, the hand is played against an opponent who responds with the solver’s strategy, and after each decision a verdict and the value lost in big blinds are shown. Up to four tables can be played at once, custom settings can be saved as drills, and tricky hands can be marked and reviewed in the replayer. The chart library and trainer are also available in iOS and Android apps.
