Description
PLO Mastermind is a platform for learning Pot-Limit Omaha that combines two parts: a library of solved spots with the PLO Trainer, and video courses that explain why the solutions look the way they do. Everything runs in the browser: nothing needs to be downloaded or installed, and access opens as soon as an account is created.
The platform is built on a database of ready-made solutions for four-card and five-card Omaha. The solutions are calculated for the whole hand at once, from flop to river, so the strategy on the early streets is consistent with what happens later. The four-card section claims over a million solutions and 3.6 billion solved nodes, and the five-card section over 100,000 solutions; the database is updated monthly.
Any spot from the database can be drilled, not just studied. The trainer deals hands from the chosen range, grades every action, and shows how much EV was lost compared with the optimal option. Hands can be played all the way to the river, practiced on random boards, played on up to four tables at once, and put under a time limit per decision, so training feels close to real play.
The second part of the platform is educational content: over 500 videos from active coaches, two new videos per week for each format, a 30-day study plan for those just starting out in Omaha, and subtitles in ten languages. There’s also a Discord community with channels for each format, where hands are discussed and coaches answer questions.
The free Starter tier has no time limit and includes some preflop trees, six training videos, and the full set of trainer features for those spots. Paid tiers unlock the entire solution library, postflop training, and advanced tools: turn and river solving right in the browser, importing custom sims, and exploitative (node-locked) solutions.
