Description
PioSolver is a tool for calculating equilibrium GTO strategies in no-limit hold’em. Instead of relying on someone else’s advice or intuition, it builds a hand tree with the bet sizes you specify and finds the optimal strategy for every hand in a range on the flop, turn, and river. This lets you break down specific hands and spot your own mistakes instead of just memorizing other people’s recommendations.
At its core are two components: the solving engine, which builds the tree and finds the equilibrium, and PioViewer, an app for viewing and reviewing finished solutions. You can apply node-locking to a solved strategy — manually set the action for part of a range at a specific point in the tree and see how the solver recalculates the opponent’s optimal play in response. Aggregation reports are also available: instead of analyzing a single board, the tool shows at once how the frequencies and EV of a c-bet, donk-bet, or raise shift depending on the turn or river card across dozens or hundreds of boards.
You don’t need to use your own computer for calculations: the PioCloud service lets you send a tree to be solved in the cloud and get the result without powerful hardware at home, and active license holders receive a portion of cloud credits for free. The tool is available in two editions — Pro and Edge — which differ in the number of CPU threads used and the set of advanced features: Edge can additionally solve heads-up preflop hands (SB vs. BB) and supports a custom build tailored to your specific hardware for faster calculations.
A built-in trainer with filters by street and hand type helps you drill the strategy you’ve found in practice, and a text-based UPI protocol is available for integrating with external tools and automating calculations — through it, your own scripts and third-party software can send commands directly to the solver, bypassing the graphical interface.
A PioSolver license is perpetual: you buy the tool once, it includes a year of free updates, and the license can be used on two computers. After the year ends, updates can be renewed separately.
