Description

Poker Stack is a mobile app for tracking a poker bankroll on iPhone and iPad. It doesn’t read hand histories or display a HUD: the player enters all session data manually, and the app keeps it in one place and calculates statistics from it. Each session records the buy-in, the cash-out, playing time, venue and notes. It works for both live and online play, for cash games and for tournaments.

A session can be started without lengthy setup. During play, the player can add rebuys, log the current stack size, pause a tournament and resume it later. If travel, food and tip expenses are entered, they are deducted from the result, so the total reflects net earnings rather than just the difference between buy-in and cash-out.

From the logged entries, the app calculates the bankroll trend, monthly profit and loss, win rate, hourly rate, average result per session, longest winning and losing streaks, and results for each venue. Filters by format and time period make it possible to separate cash games from tournaments and compare different stretches of time. A bankroll goal can also be set, along with a six-month forecast of how the bankroll will change.

The Poker Coach module uses AI to generate measured text summaries of completed sessions and points out patterns in the results, relying only on the player’s own records. The module does not give advice on how to play hands.

Session history is stored on the device, and signing into an account enables cloud backup and restoring records. Sessions can be shared as clean cards with amounts and notes hidden. The interface is available in eight languages, with light and dark themes.

Pricing

The app is a free download from the App Store, while entering and editing active sessions requires one of two subscriptions:

  • Weekly Pass — $5.99 per week.

  • Yearly Pass — $39.99 per year (about $3.33 per month).

Payment and renewal go through the Apple account, and the subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Prices are for the US App Store and may differ in other regions.

Poker Stack suits players who are willing to log every session and want those records to show how much poker earns them per hour, at which venue and in which format.
